When I look at this photo, I don’t see the biggest wave I’ve ever ridden. Instead, I see all of the risks that I’ve taken, the fears that I’ve overcome, and the hard mental and physical work that I’ve put in to become the man I am today. It's always been a dream of mine to spend a full w

It's always been a dream of mine to spend a full winter in the van chasing powder, and this year, life unfolded in an unexpected/unplanned way that gave me the opportunity to actually do it, and so I did. It's cheesy, but I dubbed these four months the Eat Pray Love Ski Tour because it was about much more than chasing pow. It was, still is, a journey of self discovery and I wanted to keep this mindset present through the highs and the lows. Now, although winter is gone, she is not forgotten and inbetween surf sessions down here in Mexico, I've been going through photos and writing short stories about my adventure. Here are a few quick highlights and if you're interested in seeing/hearing more, check out my blog, www.surfisswell.com for a full recap. Most folks don't know, but I've been documenting my adventures here on my blog since 2010. Finally, I just want to send infinite gratitude to Mother Nature for providing the goods and to the special folks along the way that helped make this journey such an unforgettable experience. It was truly everything I dreamt of, and more.
