Redefining what it means to be a good surfer

Virtual Tour: NYC by SUP

Surfing is so spontaneous.  I rarely know when or where I will surf until the moment I arrive.  For this reason, I keep my car stoked with a few essentials: wax, sunscreen, towel, wetsuit, leash, perfectly ready for when the buoys over 3 feet or the wind is blowing even slightly offshore.  In four days, on August 12th, I know exactly where I’m going and even have a a Youtube tour of the 26.5 mile stand-up paddle route around NYC for SEA Paddle NYC to support the Environment and Autism.  Some of the notable landmarks along the way include: NYC Sanitation, the Meatpacking District, Chelsea Piers, Rockefeller University, the Queensboro Bridge, the Williamsburg Bridge, the Manhattan Bridge, and the Brooklyn Bridge. Thanks to friends, family, Vibram FiveFingers, Aviator Nation, and Wave Tribe.  Together,  we’ve raised over $1,200 for incredible organizations including the Surfer’s Environmental Alliance, Believe in Me Foundation, Best Day Foundation, and Surfers Healing.
