Redefining what it means to be a good surfer

Virtual Tour: NYC by SUP

Surfing is so spontaneous.  I rarely know when or where I will surf until the moment I arrive.  For this reason, I keep my car stoked with a few essentials: wax, sunscreen, towel, wetsuit, leash, perfectly ready for when the buoys over 3 feet or the wind is blowing even slightly offshore.  In four days, on August 12th, I know exactly where I’m going and even have a a Youtube tour of the 26.5 mile stand-up paddle route around NYC for SEA Paddle NYC to support the Environment and Autism.  Some of the notable landmarks along the way include: NYC Sanitation, the Meatpacking District, Chelsea Piers, Rockefeller University, the Queensboro Bridge, the Williamsburg Bridge, the Manhattan Bridge, and the Brooklyn Bridge.
